This week we went into more of cameras and how they initially came about how they have developed more over the years and what the major changes and upgrades that have went with them, this will help us get and have a better knowledge and understanding of cameras and camera equipment and how we can look into them more when picking and going with chosen cameras for recording and getting footage for the projects. We went into the introduction of cameras and the film standards cameras and the differences between tape film and digital. Looking into as well as a number of different types of video cameras and the quality and prices of them and why they are at the qualities and prices they do them for, things such as what makes a normal camera different from a professional one and the features they have.

F – stop = facial length/lens opening and looked into how the smaller the “f-stop” number is, the more light the lens can transmit. Some cameras only have a number of outputs such as having either one or more HDMI slots for a plugin monitor and how some have 2 jack inputs in them or just one, which will be used for headphones and external microphone jack.
