For counting as the first week of talking and looking in to and through what goes into the sound and filming research and what goes onto the production of them. We went looking into different editing types and the process of them. We went into further details of how editing goes and how editing can be listed as a non-linear process, discussed how the first editing was done on tape reels and when they were editing on tape reels, they had to go through the process of copying over any mistakes on the tape reel they were using and how they had to physically cut the tape and take bits out and edit them together after cutting the chosen pieces out. went through the basics as well as such as the basic of films run at a frame rate of 24fps (Frames Per Second) and how film is an optical and a mechanical system using claws and shutter mechanism and optical exposure through the older tape filming equipment.

We also talked about how much more expensive it is now compared to video and especially now with video and digital mostly taken over and how no one really uses tape now to do filming and getting all the equipment and supplies for that process is so expensive with tapes. We went over on what is RGB is and how it is the colour of Red, Green and Blue and how they are the colour model in which they are added together to make up all the colours of the spectrum and how they are used for video. This helped with knowing how colour contrasts work in video and current day equipments and to know how to adjust the colours in different setting depending on the environment.
