Critical Studies in Sound for Moving Image Tuesday 26/11/2019
For this weeks class in Critical Studies, it was designated to and for a peer review of what we were doing and working on for our Critically Analysed reports and done presentations to show what we were doing and presenting and this was able to get us some feedback not only from our lecturer, but feedback from the rest of the other people in class, this was really helpful as it helped what we may need us to change, fix and improve on and it did help and showed us how helpful and what notes we can take from the feedback during our talking and showing of our essays.

In this week, we went into what is viewed the most important which is the logging, notes and metadata and how that it is important to track, document and file every single piece of work and made sure they have been tagged and filed so they can found and stored safely and quickly. With knowing all of this and how to properly do this, being able to go through this and it also means that all any future projects that we do, we can file and manage our files and data at a professional standards and helps you with your own works and working in the industry and what other industry personal do. The very same with archiving your data with older work and newer work and making sure they are labelled correctly and stored and filed correctly in their correct spaces.

It also helps with sorting out certain stages of works and with tagging them and dating them as well when you are trying to search for certain files and current files you are working on. We also went into and looked the program Final Cut Pro and what it can do and how we will be using it for not only for our short sound film but as well as other future projects that we will and can be using in and out of University.
